Seven Women Who Have Been Appointed to New Administrative Posts in Higher Education

kathie-stromile-goldenKathie Stromile Golden was named associate vice president for academic affairs at Mississippi Valley State University. She has been on the faculty at the university for 13 years and most recently served as a professor of political science and director of international programs at the university.

Dr. Stromile Golden holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She earned a Ph.D. in political science at the University of Kentucky.

cheri-st-arnauld-eddCheri St. Arnauld was named chief academic officer of Aspen University, a national online university. She is the former provost and chief academic officer at Grand Canyon University.

Dr. St. Arnauld holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Arizona State University. She earned an educational doctorate at Nova Southeastern University.

campbellAmy Campbell was promoted to assistant vice president for campus services at Princeton University in New Jersey. She has been an administrator at Princeton for the past 19 years, serving most recently as executive director of campus services and planning.

Campbell is a graduate of Wittenburg University in Springfield, Ohio. She holds a master’s degree in education from Boston University.

levyLeslie Levy was appointed director of the International Quilt Study Center and Museum at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She will begin her new role on July 1. Currently, Levy is the executive director of the Willa Cather Foundation.

Levy holds a bachelor’s degree in international affairs and a juris doctorate from the University of Nebraska.

Dennie_Deidra1Deidra Dennie is the new director of equity, diversity, and inclusion at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia. She was director of equal opportunity and Title IX administrator at Kennesaw State University in Georgia.

Dennie is a graduate of the University of Louisville, where she majored in communications. She holds a master’s degree in human resource development from Webster University in St. Louis and is currently in the doctorate of public administration program at Valdosta State University in Georgia.

DiBrezzo-smRo Di Brezzo was appointed the inaugural vice provost for faculty development and enhancement at the University of Arkansas. She was serving as vice provost for academic affairs. Dr. Di Brezzo also is a University Professor of kinesiology at the university.

Professor Di Brezzo is a graduate of Brooklyn College in New York. She holds a master’s degree from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in biomechanics from Texas Woman’s University.

Robinson Jo-AnnJo-Ann Robinson was appointed vice president for student affairs and enrollment management at Bluefield State College in West Virginia. She was vice president for enrollment management and student development at Wilberforce University in Ohio.

Dr. Robinson is a graduate of the State University of New York, College at Brockport. She holds a master’s degree in social science from Binghamton University and a Ph.D. in educational research and policy analysis from North Carolina State University.
