Cornell University Scholar Honored by the American Library Association

Anne R. Kenney, the Carl A. Kroch University Librarian at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, received the Hugh C. Atkinson Award from the American Library Association. The award honors accomplishments in library automation or library management.

Kenney joined the staff at Cornell University in 1987 and was promoted to her current position in 2008. She is a graduate of Duke University and holds a master’s degree in history from the University of Missouri in St. Louis and a master of library sciences from the University of Missouri in Columbia.
