Clermont College is a two-year institution in Batavia, Ohio, operated by the University of Cincinnati. The university has established a women’s peer mentoring program with the goal of helping women students at Clermont transfer to the main campus of the University of Cincinnati or to another four-year institution to complete their bachelor’s degree. Under the program, women at Clermont will be paired with a mentor at the main university campus. All participants in the program on both campuses will meet three times this semester in group sessions.
The program is funded by Clermont College and a grant from the American Association of University Women.
