“This has been a tough decision as I have loved my time at Great Falls College, and I can’t wait to see what’s next for it,” said Dr. Erdmann. “But I have decided that this will be the right time for me to begin the next chapter of my life and focus on new personal goals and opportunities.”

Dr. Gallot dedicated her entire professional career to her alma mater, Grambling State University in Louisiana. A scholar of African American history, she authored A History of Grambling State University, which analyzed funding disparities between historically Black colleges and universities and predominately White institutions.

The women appointed to new academic roles are Angela Wilson at Texas A&M University, Michelle Heck at Virginia Tech, Fenaba R. Addo at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Abby Storrs at Southern State Community College in Ohio.

The American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology has recognized Lori Anderson of the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Lori Bowman Dalley of Georgetown University, and Susan Newell of the University of Cincinnati for their outstanding contributions to nurse anesthesia education.
