In Memoriam: Susan F. Rasky, 1952-2013

raskySusan Rasky, a senior lecturer at the Graduate School of Journalism of the University of California at Berkeley, died in late December after a long illness. She was 61 years old.

Rasky taught at Berkeley for more than 20 years. Before coming to Berkeley in 1991, she was the congressional correspondent for The New York Times. Earlier in her career she worked for the Bureau of National Affairs and for Reuters.

Rasky was a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley, where she majored in history. She earned a master’s degree in economic history from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
