Barbara Knuth to Lead the Council of Graduate Schools

0194_13_038.jpgBarbara Knuth, vice provost and dean of the Graduate School at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, has been named chair-elect of the Council of Graduate Schools. Dr. Knuth will serve for one year as chair-elect and then lead the council from December 2014 to December 2015.

Dr. Knuth has been dean of the Graduate School at Cornell since 2010 and has been on the faculty at the university since 1986, when she was hired as an assistant professor of natural resource policy.

Dr. Knuth holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree from Miami University. She earned a Ph.D. in fisheries and wildlife science at Virginia Tech.
