The University of Iowa’s Women’s Health program has launched a new online newsletter to provide the women of Iowa updates on consumer health topics. The newsletter, Uniquely You, offers informative articles on health-related issues and contains a regular feature where women can ask questions and receive answers from professional healthcare providers.
“Women in Iowa are an important audience for the University of Iowa, and health is a big, big issue for them,” says Jessica McAllister, executive director of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics and director of women’s health programs. “What we’re doing with Uniquely You is to reach out to women across the state to address issues and concerns we hear women talk about in our clinics.”
