Stanford University has expanded its Faculty Child Care Assistance Program to all full-time faculty who have family income of less than $200,000. Under the program faculty will be able to be reimbursed for child care expenses for children age 5 or under. Awards can range as high as $20,000.
In the past, only junior faculty were eligible for the program. Now all full, associate, and assistant professors are eligible. For married faculty members, their spouses must work at least 30 hours a week. Single-parent faculty are also eligible.
