Drake University in Iowa Promotes 15 Women Faculty

Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, has announced promotions for 26 faculty members. Fifteen of those receiving promotions are women. Two women were promoted to full professor:

Claudia Frazer

Ӣ Carrie Koenigsfeld was named a full professor of pharmacy practice.

Ӣ Claudia Frazer was promoted to full professor at the Cowles Library.

Thirteen other women were named associate professors:

Ӣ Melisa Klimaszewski was promoted to associate professor of English with tenure.

Joanna Mosser

Ӣ Leslie Marrs was named associate professor of music and was granted tenure.

Ӣ Lenore MetrickChen was appointed associate professor of art and design and granted tenure.

Ӣ Joanna Mosser received tenure and was promoted to associate professor of politics and international relations.

Rika Uchida

Ӣ Jennifer Perrine was granted tenure and and named associate professor of English.

Ӣ Sarah Plum was promoted to associate professor of music. She was awarded tenure.

Ӣ Ashley Sidon was named associate professor of music with tenure.

Ӣ Rika Uchida was granted tenure and promoted to associate professor of music.

Michelle Bottenberg

Ӣ Natalie Adkins was named associate professor of marketing. She also was granted tenure.

Ӣ Suzanne Clayton was promoted to associate professor of information systems.

Ӣ Michelle Bottenberg was named associate professor of pharmacy practice.

Ӣ Anisa Fornoff was promoted to associate professor of pharmacy practice.

Ӣ Shelley Fairbairn was granted tenure and named associate professor of teaching and learning.
