Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, Chooses Its Next President

MaryLynn West-Moynes was selected as the next president of Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario. She will take office on August 7. She has been serving as vice president for external relations at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology. She is the former president of Mohawk College in Hamilton, Ontario.

West-Moynes is a graduate of the University of Guelph. She holds a master’s degree in adult education from Central Michigan University and will receive her doctorate next month from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.
