Women Are a Small Percentage of the Faculty at Scottish Universities

New data released by the Higher Education Statistics Agency shows that 82 percent of the faculty at universities in Scotland are men and only 18 percent are women. The figures also show that 95 percent of the faculty members are White.

Women make up 42 percent of all academic staff at Scottish universities and 63 percent on non-academic staff, according to the Higher Education Statistics Agency.
