Lynne Schrum Is a Finalist for Dean of the College of Human Resources and Education at West Virginia University

The College of Human Resources and Education at West Virginia University has announced two finalists for the position of dean. The two finalists are Peter Hiebowitsh, professor in the department of teaching and learning at the University of Iowa and Lynne Schrum, professor and coordinator of elementary education at the College of Education at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.

Dr. Schrum’s research centers on teacher preparation, the integration of technology in education, and educational research methods. She is the author of seven books and is co-author of Leading Technology Rich Schools, forthcoming in May from Teachers College Press.

Update: Dr. Schrum was named dean.
