Taking on new roles are Cheryl Neale-McFall at West Chester University in Pennsylvania, Margie Lee at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Amy Cook at Stony Brook University in New York, and Karen Jones at Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
Audrey Ruple has been named the Dorothy A. and Richard G. Metcalf Professor of Veterinary Medical Informatics at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Kristin Arola is the Karen L. Gillmor Ph.D. Endowed Professor in Professional and Public Writing at Michigan State University and LaQuandra Nesbitt was named the first Bicentennial Endowed Professorship at the medical school of George Washington University.

Marion Ehrich is professor emerita of pharmacology and toxicology at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. This honor is given by the American College of Toxicology to a woman who has impacted the advancement of science and practice of toxicology on a global level in a field dominated by men.
The four women scholars who are taking on new roles are Angela Frey at Alverno College in Milwaukee, Jamie Winders, at Syracuse University in New York, Nicole Holt has recently joined the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia, and Mary Emery at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The retiring full professors are Esther Rothblum at San Diego State University, Thomasine Heitkamp at the University of North Dakota, Debra Bacharz at the University of St. Jospeh in Joliet, Illinois, Anne Zajac at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, Amy Struthers at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Carolyn Sabo at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
The honorees are Lisa Feigenson of Johns Hopkins, Hilary Close of the University of Hawaii, Bess Pierce of Virginia Tech, Aida Hurtado of the University of California, Santa Barbara, Jann Warren-FIndley of Arizona State, Rosie Phillips Bingham of the University of Memphis, and Amelia Jones of the University of Southern California.
