Dr. Heilman taught brand management, marketing, and consulting courses at the University of Virginia for more than two decades. In addition to her academic work, she served as the university's faculty athletics representative for several years.
The Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities is a national organization that supports Jesuit higher education institutions in the United States, Belize, and Canada. Dr. Murray, who currently serves as senior vice president for student development and mission at the College of the Holy Cross, is slated to become the association's next president on June 2.
A longtime law school faculty member, Magill served as the ninth president of the University of Pennsylvania from the summer of 2022 until her resignation in December 2023. She is slated to become the next dean of the Georgetown University Law Center on August 1.
One of the nation's leading scholars in the field of legal evidence, Dr. Mnookin has served as chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-Madison since 2022. She is slated to become the next president of Columbia University in July.
The Frederick Douglass Book Prize is presented annually by Yale University in honor of the preceding year's best book on topics of slavery, resistance, or abolition. Dr. Edwards, associate professor at the University of Virginia, was honored for her latest book, Savings and Trust: The Rise and Betrayal of the Freedman's Bank (W.W. Norton and Company, 2024).

The American Chemical Society's Division of Carbohydrate Chemistry & Chemical Glycobiology has presented its David Y. Gin Award to Stacy Malaker for her outstanding early-career research contributions to the field.

Since 2022, Ellis has been a staff member with George Mason University in Virginia, where she focuses on advancing faculty and staff engagement. She has also taught as an adjunct professor for career readiness and professional skills development.

Jane Muir, an assistant professor of nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, focuses her research on identifying models of care that improve timely and equitable care in community-facing settings, such as hospital emergency departments.
Becky White, an associate professor in the division of infectious diseases at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine, was recognized for her pioneering research and leadership in improving care and reducing health disparities among prisoners with HIV.
