In Memoriam: Helen Hislop, 1929-2013
From 1975 to 1998, Dr. Hislop was the chair of the Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. She developed the first Ph.D. program in physical therapy in the United States.

In Memoriam: Barbara J. Rossier, 1934-2013
Dr. Rossier was a clinical and educational psychologist who served on the faculty at the University of California at Irvine. In 1998, she and her husband donated $20 million to the School of Education at the University of Southern California, which was renamed in their honor.
