Jennifer Gandhi was named the Phyllis A. Wallace Dean of Faculty Development for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Yale University. Catherine Volle is the inaugural Joanne Paulsen Buresh '51 and Wendy Buresh, MD '74 Endowed Chair in Biology at Cornell College in Iowa and Kalmia Kniel was named the Unidel S. Hallock du Pont Chair at the University of Delaware.
The appointments are Laila Khreisat at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Tracy DeLiberty at the University of Delaware, Alicia Purvis at William Carey University, Angie Bos at Occidental College, Debbie Dailey at the University of Central Arkansas, and Jodi Price at the University of Alabama at Huntsville.
A former New York City public school teacher, Dr. Litke has taught mathematics education at the University of Delaware for the past decade. Her research aims to improve learning opportunities for students and make mathematics classrooms more equitable and affirming spaces.
Dr. Cautin, provost of Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, brings over two decades of higher education experience to her new role as president of Regis College in Weston, Massachusetts. She is slated to begin her presidency on July 1.
