Two Women Presidents Announce Their Intentions to Leave Their Posts in 2023
Patti Neuhold-Ravikumar, president of the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmund has announced her intent to leave the university, effective January 31, 2023 and Susan Muscarella, founding president of the California Jazz Conservatory in Berkeley, has announced she will be stepping aside from the presidency in May 2023 to concentrate on teaching.
Patti Neuhold Has Been Selected as the Next President of the University of Central Oklahoma
Dr. Neuhold currently serves as the university’s vice president for finance and chief financial officer. She has been an administrator at the the university since 2007. Before joining the University of Central Oklahoma, Dr. Nehold served as general manager of operations at Ethan Allen Retail, Inc.
Martha Burger Will Be the First Woman President of Oklahoma City University
Burger is the former senior vice president of human and corporate resources at Chesapeake Energy Corporation and is the co-founder of Amethyst Investments. She has served on the university’s board of trustees since 2008 and had chaired the audit and finance committees.
