Dr. Rainey has held both academic and administrative roles within the Tennessee College of Applied Technology system for the past 15 years. Her presidency of the system's Jackson campus began on October 1.
Most recently, Chaney was the dean of career education and workforce development at Big Sandy Community and Technical College in Preston, Kentucky. Additionally, she was the director of the community college's Pikeville campus.
Since March 2016, Monks has been assistant director of the Shelbyville campus. Earlier, Monks had a 23-year career at Motlow State Community College in Tullahoma, Tennessee, including stints as dean of students and director of athletics.
