Robin Wall Kimmerer is a State University of New York Distinguished Teaching Professor of Environmental Biology at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse and the founder and director of its Center for Native Peoples and the Environment.
Stella Silva will serve as the associate vice president for inclusive excellence at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. Minnette Ellis has been named the interim chief diversity officer at the University of North Alabama and Danushi Fernando is the new chief diversity officer for the College of Environmental Science and Forestry of the State University of New York in Syracuse.
President Mahoney joined the staff at the college in 2018 as the chief operating officer. She is the former Chief executive of Onondaga County in New York. Earlier, she was both a private attorney and a criminal prosecutor for Onondaga County’s district attorney’s office.
