Stella Silva will serve as the associate vice president for inclusive excellence at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. Minnette Ellis has been named the interim chief diversity officer at the University of North Alabama and Danushi Fernando is the new chief diversity officer for the College of Environmental Science and Forestry of the State University of New York in Syracuse.
Dr. Singh currently serves as the provost and senior vice president of academic affairs at Loyola University New Orleans. Previously, she served at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas, where she was the dean of the Greehey School of Business for 11 years. Earlier, she served in various roles including department chair and professor of marketing at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb for 13 years.
Teresa A. Beam will serve as the next dean of the School of Science, Engineering and Technology at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. Oluwaranti Akiyode was named dean of the College of Pharmacy at Howard University in Washington, D.C., and J. Meejin Yoon was reappointed dean of the College of Architecture, Art and Planning at Cornell University
Dr. Córdoba brings more than two decades of experience in Catholic higher education, both as a faculty member and administrator, to her new role leading Aquinas College. She has been serving as associate vice president and director of the Center for Catholic Studies at St. Mary’s University in San Antonio.
