During her career, Dr. Culhane conducted over 250 math workshops in 18 states, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands and served as an administrator at Essex Community College in New Jersey and Neuman University in Aston, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Walsh joined the faculty at St. Bonaventure University as an assistant professor of English in 2011. She was promoted to associate professor in 2016, followed by her promotion to full professor in 2018. She is the director of the honors program, former chair of the department of English, and former acting dean of the School of Arts and Sciences.
The new deans are Colleen McGlone at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, ReneÌ Hauser at St. Bonaventure University in Allegany, New York, Stephanie J. Rowley at the University of Virginia, and Tammi Dice at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
The six women appointed to dean positions are Nell Jessup Newton at the University of Miami School of Law, Mira Lowe at Florida A&M University, Megan Walsh at St. Bonaventure University in Allegany, New York, Eileen G. Collins at the University of Illinois Chicago, Sarah Szanton at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, and Catherine R. Squires at the University of Minnesota.
