Rebecca Sherrick served for 22 years as president of Aurora University in Illinois, where she was one of the longest-serving presidents in the institution’s history. She was the first woman to serve as president in the university’s history. Earlier, she taught history at Carroll University in Wisconsin for 20 years.

Dr. Laurie Joyner served as the president of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, from 2012 to 2015. Prior to joining Wittenberg in 2012, Dr. Joyner served in a number of senior administrative positions, including provost, at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida.
