Mary K. Grant, president of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and Julie White, chancellor of Pierce College District in Washington, have both been honored by Campus Compact for their demonstrated leadership and outstanding careers in higher education.
The women appointed to diversity positions in higher education are Marilyn Ortega at Virginia Tech, Christine Navia at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Ha Nguyen at Pierce College in Washington, and Renee Wells at Queens University of Charlotte North Carolina.
Dr. Flores currently serves as vice president for student services and enrollment management at Wenatchee Valley College. Earlier, she held a variety of positions at Eastern Washington University and Washington State University in the areas of admissions, registration, financial aid, and student services administration.ÂÂ
