Mary Shambarger was the Lena Goodwin Trimble Professor of Music, emerita at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She served on the faculty there for 32 years.
For the second time, Regina Favors has been named interim president of Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock. Favors is the former president and CEO of Pinnacle Business Solutions, a subsidiary of Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. She previously served as interim president in 2018.
Women taking on new teaching roles are Jing Kong at MIT, Annemarie Gockel at Smith College, Amber Chelette at Ouachita Baptist University, Andrea Deciu Ritivoi at Carnegie Mellon University, and Linda M. Abriola at Tufts University.
