Once Again, Regina Favors Selected to Lead Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock

For the second time, Regina Favors has been named interim president of Arkansas Baptist College in Little Rock. Carlos Clark, who had been president of the college for the past year, resigned. Favors served as interim president in 2018.

According to the latest data supplied to the U.S. Department of Education, the college enrolls just under 500 students. Men make up 80 percent of the student body.

“We have faced and overcome so many challenges over the years, we now know that when we work together we can accomplish great things,” Favors said in a statement. “Our focus will continue to be meeting the needs of our community by being true to our founding mission. As we focus on doing this well, we will continue to have a positive impact on the lives we touch for generations to come.”

Favors is the former president and CEO of Pinnacle Business Solutions, a subsidiary of Arkansas Blue Cross Blue Shield. Previously, she had worked for the Federal Bureau of Investigation and has taught as an adjunct professor at Arkansas Baptist College, Philander Smith College, and Webster University.

President Favors is an alumna of Arkansas Baptist College. She also holds a master’s degree in education from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.
