A Trio of Women Who Have Been Appointed Provosts
Terese Wignot is the new provost at DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania. Andrea Stewart has been named provost and vice chancellor for academic affairs at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Toneyce Randolph is the new provost and senior vice president for academic affairs at Morris Brown College in Atlanta.

Clarissa Myrick-Harris Is the New Provost at Savannah State University in Georgia
She was associate provost for pedagogical and curricular initiatives and professor of African American studies at Morehouse College in Atlanta. In 2012, Dr. Myrick-Harris became the first woman to be named an academic dean at Morehouse College, where all the students are men.
