Two Women Presidents Announce Their Retirements
Charlotte P. Morris, the ninth president of Tuskegee University in Alabama, has announced that she will retire at the end of the current academic year and Milwaukee Area Technical College President Vicki J. Martin, will retire from the college effective June 30, 2024.
Christy L. Brown Will Be the Next President of Alverno College in Milwaukee
Since 2012, Brown has served as chief executive officer for Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast. Prior to leading the Girl Scouts, Brown served as vice chancellor for finance and administrative affairs at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 2007 to 2012. Earlier, she was executive vice president and general counsel at Milwaukee Area Technical College from 2002 to 2007.
Naydeen González-De Jesús Will Be the Thirteenth President of San Antonio College in Texas
Dr. González-De Jesús has been serving the executive vice president of student success at Milwaukee Area Technical College in Wisconsin. Prior to her position at Milwaukee Area Technical College, Dr. Gonzalez-De Jesus served as the public diplomacy officer for the U.S. embassy in Argentina.
