Mary K. Grant, president of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and Julie White, chancellor of Pierce College District in Washington, have both been honored by Campus Compact for their demonstrated leadership and outstanding careers in higher education.
Karisma Price is an assistant professor of English at Tulane University. Aisha Sabatini Sloan is an assistant professor of English at the University of Michigan and Shubha Sunder teaches creative writing at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.
Dr. Grant currently serves as Senior Administrative Fellow for Civics and Social Justice, leading the Martin Richard Institute for Social Justice and serving as Co-Chair of the President’s Special Task Force on Racial Justice at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts.
