Amy Freeman is the assistant dean of engineering outreach and inclusion at Pennsylvania State University. She recently began a one-year term as president of the Women in Engineering ProActive Network.
The complaints allege violations of Title IX resulting in "an ongoing failure of these universities to provide equal athletic opportunity to their students and, in some cases, equal financial assistance and recruitment."
The four women faculty members at Lock Haven University who were promoted to full professor are Kathleen Allison in health sciences, Patricia Lally in sports studies, Christine Remley in education, and Tamson Six in criminal justice.
