Kim Boyd was named dean of library services at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia, and Jennifer Mueller-Phillips has been named interim dean of the College of Business at Auburn University in Alabama. Crystal Shannon has been named dean of the College of Health and Human Services at Indiana University Northwest and Patsy Collins Bandes is the new dean for the School of the Arts at Dean College in Franklin, Massachusetts.
The six women in new faculty posts are Sarah Demers at Yale, Margaret Skurka at Indiana University Northwest, Deborah Jenson at Duke, Debi Switzer at Clemson, Cynthia Ward at the University of Georgia, and Lauren Caldwell at Wesleyan University.
The women in new teaching posts are Keisa W. Mathis at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, S. Ilgin Guler at Pennsylvania State University, and Margaret Skurka at Indiana University Northwest in Gary.
