Virginia Carson to Step Down as President of South Georgia State College
Dr. Carson became interim president of South Georgia College in 2008 and president in 2009. In 2013, South Georgia College merged with Waycross College to form South Georgia State College with Dr. Carson named to lead the merged institution. She will step down as president on June 30.
