In 1962, Sedgwick began working as the managing editor of the OSU College of Medicine Journal. During her tenure at Ohio State, she also taught journalism classes at Franklin University in Columbus.
The new deans are Kristin Broady at Dillard University in New Orleans, Elaine Morrato at Loyola University in Chicago, Paulette Tandy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Alyncia Bowen at Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio, and Lori Steiner at Newman University in Wichita, Kansas.
At Franklin University, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, JoAnna Williamson was named chair of the department of management and marketing and Martina Peng was appointed chair of the department of accounting, finance, and economics.
