Martin Community College has named Tabitha Miller as its next president. Dr. Miller has served as the school's chief academic officer for the past five years.
The new deans are Julia M. Ritter at the University of Southern California, Keshia Elder at the University of Missouri–St. Louis, Sonia Kreidenweis at Colorado State University, Amy Falkner at Ithaca College in New York, Lisa A. Freeman at the University of Illinois Chicago, and Stacey Altman at East Carolina University in Greenville, Nrth Carolna.
Taking on new positions or duties are Ann Bluntzer at Texas Christian University, Lisa T. Alexander at the Boston College Law School, Marianne Montgomery at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, and Samantha K. Ammons at the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Dr. Coger is currently the dean of the College of Engineering and professor of mechanical engineering at North Carolina A&T State University. Before joining North Carolina A&T in 2011, Professor Coger was a faculty member in the department of mechanical engineering and engineering science at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1996 to 2011.
