Tabitha Miller Appointed President of Martin Community College in North Carolina

Tabitha Miller has been appointed president of Martin Community College in Martin County, North Carolina. She will assume her presidency on May 1.

Martin Community College enrolls about 900 students, 67 percent of whom are women.

Dr. Miller has a background in both secondary and higher education. She currently serves as Martin Community College’s vice president and chief academic officer, a position she has held since 2019. Prior to her current position, she spent 11 years with Pitt Community College in various leadership and academic roles. She also served Coastal Carolina Community College as an adjunct professor of English for four years.

Dr. Miller is a graduate of Ohio State University where she majored in education. She received a master’s degree and Ph.D. in English from East Carolina University.
