Most recently, Dr. Oikelome served as vice president of academic affairs at Montgomery County Community College in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Earlier, she held academic leadership roles at Reading Area Community College and Lincoln University in Pennsylvania and the University of York (Hull York Medical School) in England. She will begin her new duties on October 22.
Since July 2016, Dr. Gallo has been serving as president of Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Earlier, she was dean of the College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and chair of the department of agronomy at the University of Florida.

When she takes office in July, Dr. Gallo will be the first woman president in the 120-year history of Delaware Valley University.
