Thre three women scholars appointed to endowed positions are Elaine Ying Wang in the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Kimberly Gramm at Tulane University in New Orleans, and Gwendolyn Scott-Jones of Delaware State University.

The new athletics directors are Desiree Reed-Francois at the University of Missouri at Columbia, Alecia Shields-Gadson at Delaware State University, Jacquelyn Jeanne “JJ” Antoine at Salem Academy and College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and Tammy A. Bagby at Cheyney University of Pennsylvania.
