The appointments are Katie Tarr at Bryn Mawr College, Sheena Cobrand at North Carolina A&T State University, Xiran Yuan at Colorado State University, Amber Burdge at Western Colorado University, Ally Palmer at Western Wyoming Community College, Sarah Custer at Clemson University, Kate Dorrity at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and Brittany Kicklighter at Western Carolina University.
Jennifer Hunt, who has been serving as interim dean of the University of Florida College of Medicine, has been appointed dean of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She will be the first woman to lead the Ivy League medical school in its 229-year history
The four scholars promoted to associate professor and awarded tenure at Bryn Maw College in Pennsylvania are C.C. McKee in the history of art, Aline Normoyle in computer science, Ariana Orvell in psychology and Chanelle Wilson in education.
Professor Matthews has taught creative writing and poetry at Bryn Mawr College since 2017. As a poet and educator, she centers her work on the intersections of language, economics, race, and social policy.

Dr. Grossman, an associate professor at Bryn Mawr College, is currently teaching as the Currie C. and Thomas A. Barron Visiting Professor at Princeton University for the 2025-2026 academic year. Her latest book, Immeasurable Weather was recently honored by the Society for Literature, Science, and the Arts.
Wellesley College in Massachusetts is the top women's college in the United States and tied for seventh among the country's best liberal arts colleges, according to U.S. News and World Report. Barnard College, Smith College, Mount Holyoke College, Bryn Mawr College, Scripps College, and Spelman College were the next highest ranked women's colleges and were all included within the country's overall top 50 liberal arts institutions.
