Southern Public Relations Federation Names Its Educator of the Year

J. Suzanne Horsley, an assistant professor of advertising and public relations at the University of Alabama, was named the 2012 Educator of the Year by the Southern Public Relations Federation. She received the award at the federation’s annual conference in Orlando, Florida. Before joining the faculty at the University of Alabama, Dr. Horsley taught at the University of Utah.

Dr. Horsley is a graduate of the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She holds a master’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Ph.D. in mass communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
