Seven Women Appointed to Administrative Roles at Universities

Felicia Johnson has been selected to serve as interim athletic director at Virginia State University. For the past three years, she has served as the university’s associate athletic director and senior woman administrator. Prior to her current role, she was the first woman to serve as director of athletics at Virginia Union University.

Johnson received her bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Virginia Union University and her master’s degree in sports leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Kimberly Grantham has been promoted to vice president for philanthropy at the University of Memphis in Tennessee. She has been with the university for the past 14 years, most recently serving as associate vice president for advancement and interim vice president. Earlier in her career, she served as director of training and programming and director of chapter services for Chi Omega Executive Headquarters.

Grantham received her bachelor’s degree from Texas State University.

Kristi Patrickus has been appointed Title IX coordinator at Pennsylvania State University. She comes to her new role from the University of Oregon, where she served as the student advocacy program attorney. She is active within the Association for Student Conduct Administration, currently serving as co-chair of the association’s Public Policy and Legislative Issues Committee.

Patrickus holds a bachelor of music education degree from Missouri State University and a juris doctorate from the University of Oregon.

Ariella Robbins has been promoted from interim vice president to permanent vice president for diversity, equity, and inclusion at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. Prior to her interim appointment, she served as the assistant vice president of the university’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.

Robbins earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mansfield University in Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in counseling and student development in higher education from California State University, Long Beach.

Natalie Wiebelhaus has been promoted to director of programs for the Asian Community and Cultural Center at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She has been a staff member with the center since 2018. For the past two years, she has served as programs manger.

Wiebelhaus holds a bachelor’s degree in English and global studies, with minors in Arabic and human rights and humanitarian affairs from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Stephanie Galbreaith has been appointed director of media relations at Boise State University in Idaho. She has held several marketing roles with the City of Meridian in Idaho for the past decade. Most recently, she served as the city’s communications manager.

Galbreaith received her bachelor’s degree in social sciences from Boise State University.

Carol Trecek has been named assistant dean of external affairs for the School of Dentistry at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. For the past three decades, she has served as the school’s director of continuing education and alumni relations. She has held several university-wide appointments, including vice chair of the University Staff Senate.

Trecek is a two-time alumna of Marquette University, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and an MBA.
