Yoon Kang has been named the Ruth L. Gottesman Chair in Education and the inaugural vice dean for education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. Currently, she serves as the senior associate dean for education at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City. She has held leadership and faculty positions with the medical school for the past 20 years.
Dr. Kang is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in economics with a concentration in finance. She received her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
Alison Gustafson has been named to the Gatton Foundation Endowed Chair in the Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment at the University of Kentucky. She has been a professor at the university for over a decade, currently holding appointments in the department of dietetics and human nutrition and the College of Nursing.
Dr. Gustafson is a graduate of Bradley University in Illinois where she majored in dietetics. She holds a registered dietitian license from Loyola University in Chicago, a master of public health degree in international health, and a Ph.D in nutrition and epidemiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Rachel ReboucheĢ has been appointed as the inaugural Kean Family Dean in the Beasley School of Law at Temple University in Philadelphia. She has served as a professor of law for the past 11 years, currently holding the title of James E. Beasley Professor of Law. She previously served the School of Law as associate dean for research for three years.
Dr. ReboucheĢ received dual bachelor’s degrees in political science and sociology from Trinity University in Texas. She holds a master of law degree in international law from Queen’s University Belfast in Northern Ireland and a juris doctorate from Harvard University.
Durba Ghosh has been named the Taylor Family Director of the Society for the Humanities at Cornell University. She has served as a professor of history for nearly two decades. During her tenure with Cornell University, she has authored two books: Sex and the Family in Colonial India: The Making of the Empire (Cambridge University Press, 2006) and Gentlemanly Terrorists: Political Violence and the Colonial State in India, 1919-1947 (Cambridge University Press, 2017).
Dr. Ghosh holds a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University in Connecticut, a master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin, and a Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley.
Denise Morgan has been named the Goodnight Distinguished Professor of Early Literacy at Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina. For the past two decades, she has served as a professor of literacy education at Kent State University in Ohio. She also directed the Kent State Reading and Writing Development Center.
Dr. Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama, a master of education degree from the University of Illinois, and a Ph.D. from Ohio State University.
