Bhramar Mukherjee has been named the inaugural senior associate dean of public health data science and data equity in the Yale University School of Public Health. She currently holds both academic and administrative positions with the University of Michigan including John D. Kalbfleisch Distinguished University Professor, Siobán D. Harlow Collegiate Professor of Public Health, chair of the department of biostatistics, and assistant vice president for research.
Dr. Mukherjee holds a bachelor’s degree in statistics from Presidency College in India, a master’s degree in applied statistics and data analysis from the Indian Statistical Institute, as well as a master’s degree in mathematical statistics and a Ph.D. in statistics from Purdue University in Indiana.
Stephanie L. Henderson has been appointed chair of the department of education and psychology at Alcorn State University in Mississippi. She previously taught at Mississippi College for over eight years, and has a background in public school education and administration.
Dr. Henderson is a graduate of Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia, where she majored in economics. She holds an MBA from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi, and a doctorate in education leadership from Mississippi College.
Lorraine Gaynor has been appointed to the faculty of the University of Iowa College of Law as an assistant professor of legal analysis, writing, and research. She currently serves as a senior staff attorney for Iowa Legal Aid, a nonprofit legal assistance organization.
Gaynor received her bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Grinnell College in Iowa and her juris doctorate from the University of Iowa.
