Three Women Appointed to New Faculty Positions

Isabel Rambob has been named clinical associate professor in the department of restorative sciences and assistant dean for student affairs in the College of Dentistry at the University of Oklahoma. She has been with the University of Maryland School of Dentistry for the past 15 years, holding positions such as co-director of interprofessional education and vice president of the faculty senate.

Dr. Rambob received her doctor of dental surgery degree from the State University of Feira de Santana Dental College in Brazil.

Rebecca Dingo has been appointed senior fellow and associate director of the Office of Faculty Development at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Dingo currently serves the university as a professor of English in composition and rhetoric. She is the author of Networking Arguments: Rhetoric, Transnational Feminism, and Public Policy Writing (University of Pittsburgh Press), 2012).

Dr. Dingo holds a master’s degree and Ph.D. in women’s studies and English from the Ohio State University.

Sez Atamturktur Russcher, professor of mechanical engineering at Clemson University, has received a joint faculty appointment with the Savannah River National Laboratory. In addition to her faculty role, Dr. Russcher currently serves as associate vice president for the Charleston Innovation Centers located at the Clemson University Restoration Institute in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. Russcher earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture and civil engineering from Middle East Technical University in Türkiye. She received a master’s degree in architectural engineering and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
