Diane Beebe to Lead the American Board of Family Medicine

Diane K. Beebe was named chair-elect of the American Board of Family Medicine, the second largest of the 24 medical specialty board in the United States. She has served on the board of directors of the ABFM since 2007. She is also the interim director of the Mississippi Office of Physician Workforce.

Dr. Beebe is professor and chair of family medicine at the University of Mississippi, a post she has held since 2007. She joined the faculty at the medical school in 1987. She earned her medical degree at Ole Miss.
