In Memoriam: Donna Jeanne Kelly, 1955-2020

Donna Kelly, an associate professor in the department of speech-language pathology and coordinator for the Communication Sciences and Disorders program at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, passed away on August 23 at St Vincent Hospital in Little Rock. She was 65 years old and had suffered from cancer.
A native of South Bend, Indiana, Professor Kelly grew up in Mishawaka, Indiana. She earned a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in speech pathology from Indiana University Bloomington as well as a Ph.D. in child language at the University of Kansas.
Dr. Kelly worked for the Child Development Unit at the Mid-Missouri Mental Health Center in Columbia and later became an instructor with the Children’s Rehabilitation Unit at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
From 1990 until 2003, Dr. Kelly was an associate professor at Marquette University in Milwaukee. She joined the faculty at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2003.
