St. Cloud State University Professor Honored by the American Society for Engineering Management

Hiral A. Shah, an associate professor in the department of mechanical and manufacturing engineering at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota, was named a fellow of the American Society for Engineering Management. The award represents the highest level of membership in the society and is presented to members who have served the organization for at least eight years and have demonstrated engineering management accomplishments.

Dr. Shah teaches both online and classroom courses. Her research is focused on curriculum and certification examination development, project management, and lean manufacturing. She is the lead editor of the book A Guide to the Engineering Management Body of Knowledge (American Society of Engineering Management, 4th Edition, 2015).

Dr. Shah is a graduate of Maharaja Sayajirao University in Baroda, India. She earned a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in engineering management from Eastern Michigan University.
