The Next Dean of the College of Health and Human Performance at East Carolina University

Anisa Zvonkovic is the Next Dean of the College of Health and Human Performance at East Carolina UniversityAnisa Zvonkovic was appointed dean of the College of Health and Human Performance at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. She will take office on July 1.

Dr. Zvonkovic has been serving as a professor and chair of the department of human development and family science at Virginia Tech. She joined the faculty at Virginia Tech in 2011. Previously, she was a professor and chair of the department of human development and family studies at Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Earlier, she taught at Oregon State University.

Earlier this year, Professor Zvonkovic was elected chair of the board of directors of the National Council on Family Relations. She will serve a two-year term.

Professor Zvonkovic is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where she majored in psychology and religious studies. She holds a master’s degree and a Ph.D. in human development and family studies from Pennsylvania State University.
