Bonnie Rush Is Leading the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University

Bonnie Rush has been appointed interim dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Kansas State University. Dr. Rush is a professor of internal equine medicine and specializes in equine respiratory disease. She joined the faculty at the veterinary school in 1993 and served as head of the clinical sciences department from 2006 to 2017.
“I am appreciative and honored to serve as the interim dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine,” Rush said. “I look forward to working with our talented faculty, staff, students and alumni as we continue to work on our initiatives and goals moving forward.”
Rush earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ohio State University in 1989 and completed internship training at North Carolina State University.
