Six Women Appointed to New Administrative Posts in Higher Education

Jacqueline A. Travisano was appointed executive vice president for business and finance and chief operating officer at the University of Miami in Florida. Since 2011, she has been executive vice president and chief operating officer for Nova Southeastern University. Earlier, Dr. Travisano was vice president for business affairs and chief financial officer at St. John’s University in Queens, New York.

Dr. Travisano is graduate of Robert Morris University in Moon, Pennsylvania. She holds an MBA from Chatham University in Pittsburgh and an educational doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.

Emily Boyle was named an admissions recruiter at Salem Community College in Carneys Point, New Jersey. She was a coordinator for Residence Life at Widener University.

Boyle is a graduate of Stockton University in Galloway Township, New Jersey, where she majored in psychology. She earned a master’s degree in education from Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.

Dana Matos is the new deputy chief diversity officer at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. She was a member of the leadership and diversity advisory councils in the Office of the President at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.

Matos is a graduate of Brown University and the law school at the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

Carrie Gonsor Sanderson is the inaugural director of the Center for the Prevention of Child Maltreatment at the University of South Dakota. She was an assistant United States Attorney in Pierre, South Dakota.

Sanderson holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish, a master of public administration degree, and a juris doctorate, all from the University of South Dakota.

Bridget Trogden was appointed associate dean for undergraduate studies at Clemson University in South Carolina. She was the quality enhancement program director at Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.

Dr. Trogden is a graduate of Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky, where she majored in chemistry and minored in music. She earned a Ph.D. in chemistry at the University of Illinois.

Kimberly Reinagel-Nietubicz will join the office of the university treasurer at the University of Delaware as a senior policy analyst. She has been serving as chief of fiscal and policy analysis in the Office of the Controller General for the state of Delaware.

Reinagel-Nietubicz is a graduate of Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, where she majored in public administration and political science. She holds a master of public administration degree in health policy and financial management from the University of Delaware.
