Calumet College of St. Joseph in Indiana Names Its Next President

The next president of Calumet College of St. JosephThe board of trustees of Calumet College of St. Joseph in Hammond, Indiana, has announced the selection of Amy McCormack to become the educational institution’s seventh president. She will take office on July 1.

Calumet College of St. Joseph, founded in 1951 by the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, enrolls about 900 undergraduate students and 200 graduate students. Women are 45 percent of the undergraduate student body.

Dr. McCormack has been serving as senior vice president for finance and administration at Dominican University in River Forest, Illinois. She has held this post since 2006 and first joined the staff at Dominican University in 1991.

Dr. McCormack is a graduate of Indiana University, where she majored in accounting. She holds a master’s degree from Dominican University and an educational doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania.
