
Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland received a grant from the State of Ohio to fund its Green Dot program that aims to educate students about protecting themselves from sexual assault and to educate bystanders on steps they can take to intervene before a sexual assault may occur.

The University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh will share a two-year, $800,000 grant the Department of Defense to create the first 3-D bioprinted breast ductal structure to identify markers for low-risk premalignant disease. The goal is to limit unnecessary breast surgeries for women who will not develop invasive breast cancer.
